Writing Services

I offer guidance at every step of the writing process.

I attribute my development as a writer to my own trusted friends and mentors.
Whether you’re looking for feedback, assembling a collection, or just getting started,
I’d love to share I’ve learned.
We can talk through your ideas to figure out if I’m the best writing guide for you.
If I know someone better suited for your project, I can refer you to one of my trusted, talented writer-friends.
I believe arts and education should be accessible for all.
If pricing is inhibitive, let me know!
I’ll find a way to make it feasible for you.

I offer holistic feedback on MFA poetry and nonfiction portfolios.
I rely on my knowledge of MFA admission processes, with attention to organization, composition, individual poems, etc.
Applicants I’ve worked with have been accepted to (and received funding from!) Cornell, NYU, University of Michigan,
Vanderbilt, Syracuse, and UT Austin (NWP), amongst others.

what to expect

Consultations that involve written feedback (essays, portfolios, manuscripts) may go something like this:
1. You send me your work, along with questions and concerns.
2. I read through the text on my own time and generate written feedback, which I’ll send to you prior to our meeting.
3. We discuss your work together over Zoom. I can answer questions you have, including questions about the text, publication, graduate programs, etc.
